MATTHEW RIGGLE

Matthew Riggle began his career in the investment management industry in 2004 as an investment consultant at Morgan Stanley before joining Asset Preservation Advisors (APA) in 2006. As APA’s co-director of Research, Matt co-manages APA’s Credit Research Committee, and conducts portfolio analytics and investment research on state and local bond issuers. Additionally, he serves as a member of APA’s Investment Committee, tracking industry trends, and providing insight to help guide the Firm’s investment approach. He earned his MBA from the Georgia Institute of Technology Scheller College of Business, and is a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Florida Business School. While at Georgia Tech, Matt earned a Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma, a team-focused managerial approach to improve operational performance by removing waste and reducing variation. Matt is a member of the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Southern Municipal Finance Society.
